Greek hip hop has had a significant influence on UK hip hop, particularly in the realms of lyrical content, production styles, and cultural exchange. As the UK hip hop scene emerged, artists looked beyond traditional American influences, drawing inspiration from diverse global movements. Greek hip hop, which began in the late 1980s and early 1990s, was shaped by social and political themes, much like the UK's early hip hop scene, which addressed issues such as youth disenfranchisement, identity, and resistance to authority. This inspired me to make a tune about it and shoot the music video in Greece/France and England as its a contrast.
